| Abstract: | Northern hemisphere, with emphasis on fluctuations in North America (including Greenland); results compared with output from NOAA's GFDL GCM. Accuracy of modelled snow cover is discussed in relation to predictions of climate change. No trend is apparent, but several periods of positive and negative departures are found. |
