Glaciers of Europe - glaciers of Sweden / Valter Schytt.

Title: Glaciers of Europe - glaciers of Sweden / Valter Schytt.
Author(s): Schytt, Valter.

In: U.S. Geological Survey professional paper. (1993.), Vol. 1386-E (1993)
Abstract: Landsat images, in conjunction with other data, have been used to map extent of glaciers, update glacier inventories, determine changes in mass balance, and produce runoff estimates for hydroelectric power production. Sweden has total area of 324 km² covered by glaciers. Storglaciären, in Swedish Lapland, has longest continuous series of mass-balance measurements, initiated in 1945-46.
