Record #126246:

The glaciodynamic event and glaciodynamic sequence / Stig A. Schack Pedersen.

Title: The glaciodynamic event and glaciodynamic sequence / Stig A. Schack Pedersen.
Author(s): Pedersen, Stig A. Schack.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Regina, Saskatchewan: University of Regina, Canadian Plains Research Center
In: Glaciotectonics and mapping glacial deposits. Proceedings of the INQUA Commission on Formation and Properties of Glacial Deposits. (1993.),
Abstract: Cross-section of Feggeklit coast profile in western Limfjord region, northern Denmark, is used to demonstrate principles for glaciotectonic and glaciodynamic classification. Deformation of sediments was caused by two glacial tectonic mechanisms: proglacial gravity-spreading deformation and subglacial cataclastic shearing.
Notes:

In: Glaciotectonics and mapping glacial deposits. Proceedings of the INQUA Commission on Formation and Properties of Glacial Deposits / James S. Aber, ed.

Keywords: 551.33 -- Glacial geology.
551.333 -- Glacial deformation and glaciotectonic structures.
551.333.3 -- Glacial drift, deformation structures in.
