| Abstract: | Sections through 14 m of Late Pleistocene sediments were exposed in 1989 and record glacial Lake Maumee proglacial subaquatic fan, still-water deposit, bar, and shoreface beach sands of Arkona--Whittlesey transition. Plant and animal fossils were also found. Site, sedimentary facies and fossils are described and palaeoenvironment is deduced based upon relationship between these materials. |
