Record #126233:

Thermal control of freezing processes with predetermined rate of freezing / Sui Lin.

Title: Thermal control of freezing processes with predetermined rate of freezing / Sui Lin.
Author(s): Lin, Sui.
Date: 1993.
In: CRREL Special Report. (1993.), Vol. 93-22 (1993)
Abstract: Thermal control of process is to determine surface boundary condition to match freezing rate. Heat-balance integral method is used to determine required surface boundary condition. For special case, where freezing rate is inversely proportional to square root of time, constant surface temperature is required to match freezing rate. For other freezing rates, required surface conditions must be functions of time in order to match freezing rates.
