Record #126208:

Effect of heat conductor plates on ice formation near a wall / T. Hirata, S. Ando, M. Ishikawa.

Title: Effect of heat conductor plates on ice formation near a wall / T. Hirata, S. Ando, M. Ishikawa.
Author(s): Hirata, T.
Ando, S.
Ishikawa, M.
Date: 1993.
In: CRREL Special Report. (1993.), Vol. 93-22 (1993)
Abstract: Experimental and analytical studies of ice formation in stagnant water associated with heat conductor plates located perpendicularly to isothermally heated and cooled surfaces are presented. Shows that onset conditions are dependent on pitch and thickness of heat conductor plates and are less dependent on thermal conductivity of plates.
