Record #126184:

Possible future contributions to sea level change from small glaciers / Michael Kuhn.

Title: Possible future contributions to sea level change from small glaciers / Michael Kuhn.
Author(s): Kuhn, Michael.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Cambridge: Cambridge University Press
Abstract: Previous work is reviewed; it suggests that 20 to 50% of global mean sea-level rise over past 100 years may be due to melting of small glaciers. Future contributions are estimated in several ways, using scenario of 4°C warming over next 100 years. Contribution of small glaciers to sea-level rise in this time is likely to be around 20 cm.
Notes:

Offprint: Climate and sea level change; observations, projections and implications / R.A. Warrick, E.M. Barrow, T.M.L. Wigley, eds.
