Simulation of the climate of the last 200 kyr with the LLN 2D-model / H. Gallée, A. Berger, Nicholas J. Shackleton.
Title: | Simulation of the climate of the last 200 kyr with the LLN 2D-model / H. Gallée, A. Berger, Nicholas J. Shackleton. |
Author(s): | Gallée, H. Berger, A. Shackleton, Nicholas J. |
Date: | 1993. |
Publisher: | Berlin: Springer |
In: | Ice in the climate system. (1993.), |
Abstract: | Sectorially averaged model of northern hemisphere has been developed, taking into account coupling between atmosphere, upper ocean, sea ice, ice sheets and underlying bedrock. It has been used to simulate last glacial--interglacial cycle as response to insolation and CO₂ forcings; in this paper, simulation of climate of last 200 ka is presented. Insolation forcing and CO₂ variations reconstructed from deep sea cores are taken into account. |
