Ecological--geological regionalization of the cryolithozone in the USSR / A.B. Chizhov, Yu.V. Van'ko, A.V. Gavrilov, A.Yu. Derevyagin.
Title: | Ecological--geological regionalization of the cryolithozone in the USSR / A.B. Chizhov, Yu.V. Van'ko, A.V. Gavrilov, A.Yu. Derevyagin. |
Author(s): | Chizhov, A. B. Van'ko, Yu. V. Gavrilov, A. V. Derevyagin, A. Yu. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Polar Geography and Geology. (1993.), Vol. 17(3) (1993) |
Abstract: | Presents scheme for mapping ecological--geological variations in terms of susceptibility to technical impacts and degree of severity of negative impacts that may have been caused by economic exploitation. Basic map has superimposed upon it information as to degree of sensitivity to disruption and acuteness of anticipated or existing problems with regard to economic activities ranging from forestry and agriculture to mining, and extraction and transport of oil and gas. |
