Record #125977:

Late autumn runoff and sediment transport in a proglacial drainage system, Sermilik, East Greenland / Bent Hasholt.

Title: Late autumn runoff and sediment transport in a proglacial drainage system, Sermilik, East Greenland / Bent Hasholt.
Author(s): Hasholt, Bent.
Date: 1993.
In: Geografisk Tidsskrift. (1993.), Vol. 93 (1993)
Abstract: Presents figures obtained from field investigations carried out in proglacial area of Mitdluagkat glacier drainage basin, September 1992. About 90 to 95% of basin is covered by glacier, whereas outlet of Kugssuag lake is only about 20% covered. Formation of frazil and anchor ice caused increased sediment transport, dominating total load of proglacial stream during measuring period from 2 to 19 September.
