Record #125931:

Submerged and tilted coastal features off Troms, northern Norway / Kåre Rokoengen, Trygve Dekko.

Title: Submerged and tilted coastal features off Troms, northern Norway / Kåre Rokoengen, Trygve Dekko.
Author(s): Rokoengen, Kåre.
Dekko, Trygve.
Date: 1993.
In: Norsk Geologisk Tidsskrift. (1993.), Vol. 73(3) (1993)
Abstract: Shallow-seismic investigations off Troms show geomorphic features resembling strandlines and wave-cut platforms. Two levels are described and named. Higher was formed as wave-cut platform and later tilted. Both were formed after deglaciation of area. Youngest possible age of 13,000 to 11,000 years should have given enough time for formation.
