Abstract: Describes these periglacial features, which occur at altitudes between 3600 and 3900 m in mid Tyan' Shan'. Different types appear at different altitudes (3930, 3880 and 3820 m), and have developed since Little Ice Age, Holocene and Pleistocene, respectively.
