In: Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (1993.), Vol. 75A(4) (1993)
Abstract: Inferences from investigation of surficial deposits, which are particularly relevant to debate on stability of east Antarctic ice sheet because they span Pliocene and include specific information about mountain uplift and extent of east Antarctic ice-sheet incursions into dry valleys, suggest that no significant change occurred in magnitude or character of glacial activity since Mid-Pliocene. Evidence is that desert conditions existed before 3.47 Ma.
