Record #125818:

Influence of salinity on the compressive strength behavior of frozen soils / Harsha Wijeweera, Ramesh C. Joshi.

Title: Influence of salinity on the compressive strength behavior of frozen soils / Harsha Wijeweera, Ramesh C. Joshi.
Author(s): Wijeweera, Harsha.
Joshi, Ramesh C.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Wushan, Guangzhou: South China University of Technology Press
In: Permafrost. Sixth International Conference. Proceedings (Vol. 1), July 5-9, 1993, Beijing China. (1993.),
Abstract: Primary objective was to evaluate effects of salinity, temperature and total water content on compressive strength of fine-grained frozen soils. Three strength parameters (peak, yield, and residual strengths) were considered. Secondary objective was to examine type of failure undergone by frozen saline soils.
Notes:

In: Permafrost. Sixth International Conference. Proceedings (Vol. 1), July 5-9, 1993, Beijing China / International Conference on Permafrost.
