Hillslope hydrology in an Arctic setting / Larry D. Hinzman, Douglas L. Kane, Kaye R. Everett.

Title: Hillslope hydrology in an Arctic setting / Larry D. Hinzman, Douglas L. Kane, Kaye R. Everett.
Author(s): Hinzman, Larry D.
Kane, Douglas L.
Everett, Kaye R.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Wushan, Guangzhou: South China University of Technology Press
In: Permafrost. Sixth International Conference. Proceedings (Vol. 1), July 5-9, 1993, Beijing China. (1993.),
Abstract: Interaction of hillslope surface flow and underlying soils is of interest because of shallow nature of active layer overlying permafrost. Permafrost table also maintains perched water table within active layer with considerable spatial variability. This causes irregular oscillation between surface and subsurface flow. Reports results from study in northern Alaska.
