Abstract: | Addresses effects of specimen size on fracture, using existing nonlinear size-effect law. Also, conditions in which stable cracking may occur are discussed and nonlinear fracture analysis based on cohesive crack model and weight function method are presented, along with preliminary experimental results based upon analysis. |
