Record #125565:

[Snow transport in an open channel on mild slope configuration] / Yusuke Fukushima, Norio Hayakawa, Masato Murakami.

Title: [Snow transport in an open channel on mild slope configuration] / Yusuke Fukushima, Norio Hayakawa, Masato Murakami.
Author(s): Fukushima, Yusuke.
Hayakawa, Norio.
Murakami, Masato.
Date: 1993.
Language: Japanese.
In: Seppyo : Journal of the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. (1993.), Vol. 55(4) (1993)
Abstract: Develops theory to treat water flow containing snow as solid--liquid two-phase flow. Equation of continuity and of momentum in flow direction are introduced to obtain velocity for each phase. Based on above relations, theory is derived for rate of snow transport and of depth increase. Tested against experimental results.
Notes:
