Record #125492:

Implication of unstable behavior of the Laurentide ice sheet to ice dynamics and climate change: experiments with an ice-sheet model / J.W. Jenson, Peter U. Clark.

Title: Implication of unstable behavior of the Laurentide ice sheet to ice dynamics and climate change: experiments with an ice-sheet model / J.W. Jenson, Peter U. Clark.
Author(s): Jenson, J. W.
Clark, Peter U.
Date: 1993.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1993.), Vol. 74(43, supplement) (1993)
Abstract: Abstract. Uses finite-difference flowband model to investigate origin of unstable behaviour exhibited by Laurentide ice sheet over areas of deforming sediment, especially to evaluate whether rapid ice-margin oscillations are result of climate forcing or consequence of inherently unstable ice-sheet behaviour associated with deforming-bed hypothesis.
Notes:

Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 74(43, supplement) :360 (1993).

Keywords: 551.336 -- Ice ages.
551.79 -- Quaternary.
519.673 -- Modelling.
E7 -- Glaciology: glacial geology and ice ages.
(*40) -- North American Arctic.
