Abstract: Abstract. Ice-flow model by MacAyeal (in press) shows how Laurentide ice sheet in Hudson Bay could have undergone large, free "binge-free" oscillations with periodicity and magnitude similar to those of Heinrich events. Here, it is shown that this model also predicts debris fluxes consistent with Heinrich events.
