| Abstract: | Abstract. After being left undisturbed for one year, temperature profile was measured in June 1993 in liquid-filled 3028 m borehole at site of Greenland Ice-core Project (GRIP). Inverse model calculations show that temperature profile contains information on past climatic periods, including cold period between 30 and 14 ka BP (depth 1000 to 2000 m), which is seen also in δ¹⁸O record. |
