Title: Atmosphere--snow exchange of H₂O₂: transfer function for interpreting ice-core records / R.C. Bales, M.V. Losleben, Martha H. Conklin, K. Fuhrer, A. Neftel.

Abstract: Abstract. Hydrogen peroxide preserved in Greenland ice core is possible indicator of patterns of change for atmospheric oxidants such as OH, which are not recorded at all in ice. H₂O₂ recorded in ice depends on conditions in which it was deposited and post-depositional changes as surface snow equilibrated with atmosphere. Studies at Summit, Greenland, and associated modelling efforts are aimed at establishing present atmospheric--snow transfer function for H₂O₂ as means for interpreting this and other reversibly deposited species in ice-core record.
