Abstract: Summary only. Describes these features, which are composed of smoothly dissected rock, 3-6 m wide, 2 to 3 m deep, and several tens to several 100 m long. They appear on 76.8% of slopes where avalanches have appeared. Inversely, traces of avalanches appear in 90.2% of avalanche furrows.
