| Abstract: | Average amounts of seasonal snow cover and snowfall were 7.9x10¹³ and 1.2x10¹⁴ kg, respectively. Mass of seasonal snow cover for winter of heavy snowfall (1980-81) was 1.3x10¹⁴ kg. Amount of 7.9x10¹³ kg was converted to water equivalent of 230 mm on entire snow-covered area. Mean of 370 mm in snow water equivalent was calculated for snow area where mean snow depth on ground was >10 cm. |
