| Abstract: | Reports some results from seven-year study, beginning in 1986, to clarify mechanisms of drifting snow, accumulation and strong winds associated with snow clouds. As well as detailed observations at several ground sites, observations of wind structure in lower atmosphere were made and areal distributions of drifting snow as function of time were evaluated. |
