Record #125411:

Energy budget comparison of snowmelt rate in a deciduous forest and an open site / T. Ohta, T. Hashimoto, H. Ishibashi.

Title: Energy budget comparison of snowmelt rate in a deciduous forest and an open site / T. Ohta, T. Hashimoto, H. Ishibashi.
Author(s): Ohta, T.
Hashimoto, T.
Ishibashi, H.
Date: 1993.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1993.), Vol. 18 (1993)
Abstract: Daily snowmelt rates at leafless deciduous forest site were 40 to 85% of those at open site. Solar radiation, net radiation, and wind speed were reduced at forested site, and relationships between them at both sites were represented by linear functions. Snowmelt rates could be predicted by energy budget method, and net radiation was major component in snowmelt energy at both sites.
