Record #125358:

An uncomplicated model of ship icing / Ryan Z. Blackmore, Edward P. Lozowski.

Title: An uncomplicated model of ship icing / Ryan Z. Blackmore, Edward P. Lozowski.
Author(s): Blackmore, Ryan Z.
Lozowski, Edward P.
Date: [1993]
Publisher: Edmonton, Alberta: University of Alberta, Department of Civil Engineering
In: IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. ([1993]), Vol.2.
Abstract: Model is documented in full and uses known parameters. Vessel's length and beam are input parameters. Selected model physics is less complex than in some statistical approaches. Dynamics and thermodynamics of freezing spray cloud are modelled and used as primary basis for calculating ice growth on vessel.
Notes:

In: IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. Vol.2. / International Association for Hydraulic Research.
