Record #125315:

Relation between melting of the Antarctic ice sheet and shift of the polar front from 1979-1989 (abstract) / Shinya Kakuta, Kunihiko Watanuki.

Title: Relation between melting of the Antarctic ice sheet and shift of the polar front from 1979-1989 (abstract) / Shinya Kakuta, Kunihiko Watanuki.
Author(s): Kakuta, Shinya.
Watanuki, Kunihiko.
Date: 1993.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Proceedings of the NIPR Symposium on Antarctic Geosciences. (1993.), Vol. 6 (1993)
Abstract: Using oceanographic data, shift in polar front and excess amount of melting ice in Antarctic has been estimated to be, respectively, 6 to 10 km a⁻¹ (northwards) and 160 Gt a⁻¹. Part of study of global climatic change.
