| Abstract: | Reviews age data on chronostratigraphy of New York Pleistocene, with supporting information from adjacent states and provinces. Object is to summarize glacial--interglacial stratigraphic relationships within NY state for which numerical dates have been determined geochemically or geophysically, thus attempting to provide objective foundation for ongoing Quaternary research that relates eastern Atlantic seaboard to better documented chronology of Great Lakes region. |
