Record #125150:
Rapid CH₄ variations during the Younger Dryas and "Dansgaard--Oeschger" events in the GISP II ice core / Michael Bender, Todd Sowers, Joe Orchardo.
Title: | Rapid CH₄ variations during the Younger Dryas and "Dansgaard--Oeschger" events in the GISP II ice core / Michael Bender, Todd Sowers, Joe Orchardo. |
Author(s): | Bender, Michael. Sowers, Todd. Orchardo, Joe. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1993.), Vol. 74(43, supplement) (1993) |
Abstract: | Abstract. Changes on atmospheric methane reflect biogeographic changes which result from variations in ice cover, temperature and precipitation. Atmospheric CH₄ record has been generated from upper 2250 m of Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2) ice core, which is consistent with records from other ice cores. Climatic implications discussed. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 74(43, supplement) :78 (1993). |
