Laboratory investigations of the flow in open channels with partial ice cover / Wojciech Majewski.
Title: | Laboratory investigations of the flow in open channels with partial ice cover / Wojciech Majewski. |
Author(s): | Majewski, Wojciech. |
Date: | [1993] |
Publisher: | Edmonton, Alberta: University of Alberta, Department of Civil Engineering |
In: | IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. ([1993]), Vol.1. |
Abstract: | Experiments were carried out for steady flow conditions with depth of 0.2 m and constant discharge for free-surface and partly covered flows. Plates simulating ice were floating on both sides of channel, which was 2 m wide and 20 m long. Bottom roughness and underside roughness of simulated ice were varied. |
Notes: | In: IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. Vol.1. / International Association for Hydraulic Research. |
