The effect of the model ice density on the predicted performance of a structure or vessel in ice / Razek Abdelnour, George Comfort, Don Spencer.
Title: | The effect of the model ice density on the predicted performance of a structure or vessel in ice / Razek Abdelnour, George Comfort, Don Spencer. |
Author(s): | Abdelnour, Razek. Comfort, George. Spencer, Don. |
Date: | [1993] |
Publisher: | Edmonton, Alberta: University of Alberta, Department of Civil Engineering |
In: | IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. ([1993]), Vol.1. |
Abstract: | Results from model tank studies are presented which confirm assumptions made previously to correct for density. Particular emphasis on effect of ice density on resistance in rubble ice where effect of ice density is most likely to cause errors. |
Notes: | In: IAHR 92; 11th International Symposium on Ice, Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 15-19, 1992. Proceedings. Vol.1. / International Association for Hydraulic Research. |
