| Abstract: | Abstract. Using 90° laser-light scattering from solid ice, continuous measurements of dust concentration were made along Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2) ice core. Reports on results for ice from 1660 m (11.5 ka BP) to bedrock and discusses significance relative to climatic and terrestrial conditions (wind strength and aridity) prevalent during pre-Holocene times. |
