Record #125060:
Paleoclimate high-frequency variability from GRIP and Vostok ice cores / P. Yiou, J. Jouzel, S.J. Johnsen, Ö. Rögnvaldsson.
Title: | Paleoclimate high-frequency variability from GRIP and Vostok ice cores / P. Yiou, J. Jouzel, S.J. Johnsen, Ö. Rögnvaldsson. |
Author(s): | Yiou, P. Jouzel, J. Johnsen, S. J. Rögnvaldsson, Ö. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1993.), Vol. 74(43, supplement) (1993) |
Abstract: | Abstract. Results show similar orbital features in both cores and prominent organized variability of periodicity between 4 and 7 ka. This range of periodicity is interpreted in terms of ice--atmosphere interactions. Differences in frequency indicate that both ice sheets are likely to oscillate independently from each other from same mechanism. |
Notes: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 74(43, supplement) :85 (1993). |
