Abstract: Abstract. Record shows both solar flare anomalies in nitrate as well as volcanic eruption events in conductivity, providing accurate dating of record. Although primary objective is to evaluate solar signal to determine patterns of solar flare variability, it is recognized that results may have important implications for short-term climatic variation.
