| Abstract: | King eiders and common eiders were recorded at Disko Island, West Greenland in period 1989-1993. Both species occur year-round in area, with spring migration in May-June. In autumn c. 20,000 king eiders undergo pre-basic moult in area and c. 4000 male common eiders undergo pre-basic moult in late summer. |
