An analysis of the gravity field in the Norwegian Sea and mapping of the ice cap of Greenland using ERS-1 altimeter measurements / C.C. Tscherning, Per Knudsen, S. Ekholm, Ole Baltazar Andersen.
Title: | An analysis of the gravity field in the Norwegian Sea and mapping of the ice cap of Greenland using ERS-1 altimeter measurements / C.C. Tscherning, Per Knudsen, S. Ekholm, Ole Baltazar Andersen. |
Author(s): | Tscherning, C. C. Knudsen, Per. Ekholm, S. Andersen, Ole Baltazar. |
Date: | 1993. |
Publisher: | Paris: European Space Agency |
In: | Proceedings of the First ERS-1 Symposium; Space at the Service of our Environment; 4-6 November 1992, Cannes, France. (1993.), Vol.1. |
Abstract: | Recovered gravity field obtained by fast delivery 35-day repeat ERS-1 altimeter correlates well with observed major geological structures and demonstrates potential of technique. For land application, ERS-1 altimetry has completed monitoring Greenland ice sheet up to 82°. |
Notes: | In: Proceedings of the First ERS-1 Symposium; Space at the Service of our Environment; 4-6 November 1992, Cannes, France. Vol.1. / Brigitte Kaldeich, ed. |
