Record #12471:

Diptera (Orthorrhapha brachycera and Cyclorrhapha) from Spitsbergen and Bear Island / J.E. Collin.

Title: Diptera (Orthorrhapha brachycera and Cyclorrhapha) from Spitsbergen and Bear Island / J.E. Collin.
Author(s): Collin, J. E.
Date: 1923.
Abstract: Of the eight species collected, seven (including six previously recorded from Spitsbergen) appear to have a wide distribution in the north. The eighth species, collected on Bear Island, appears to be an undescribed species; its association with gulls' nests, and having been found on the island of St Kilda, makes it probable that it will also be found to have a wide distribution in northern regions.
