| Abstract: | In 1962 and 1965 27 muskox yearlings were moved from East to West Greenland at Angujaatorfiup Nunaa, icefree, continental area where caribou are indigenous and there is abundant vegetation. Despite culling, aerial surveys showed population of 2600 in 1990. Preferred terrain was low-lying. Annual increment is 30%. |
