Record #124410:
Glacial start and global warming: what to watch / George Kukla.
Title: | Glacial start and global warming: what to watch / George Kukla. |
Author(s): | Kukla, George. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Glaciological Data. (1993.), Report GD-25 (1993) |
Abstract: | Points out various anomalies and disagreements between models and modelling results, and need to monitor separately and in detail cryospheric as well as other weather-related and oceanic variables in Arctic and sectors surrounding North Atlantic. Developments there will show whether cryosphere will eventually retreat, giving way to model-predicted super-interglacial, or whether it will grow, marking onset of CO₂-assisted glacial. |
Notes: | Glaciological Data. Report GD-25 :93-110 (1993). |
Keywords: | 551.58 -- Climatology. 551.583 -- Climatic changes. 551.588 -- Climate, effect of man and environment. 551.588.5 -- Climate, relationship with ice. 519.673 -- Modelling. E9 -- Glaciology: meteorology and climatology. (*3) -- Arctic regions. (*60) -- Arctic Ocean and adjacent waters. |
