| Abstract: | Station is located in northern part of Sør Rondane inland from Prinsesse Ragnhild Kyst. Describes construction of dome using inflated 10 m diameter membrane. Water was sprayed onto this, also milled snow was used. Dome was 7 cm thick and 3 m high. Deformation of ceiling and decrease in thickness of walls due to sublimation in summer were monitored. Dome provided useful workshop and storehouse. |
