Record #124324:

A three-dimensional time-dependent ship icing model / W.P. Zakrzewski, and 6 others.

Title: A three-dimensional time-dependent ship icing model / W.P. Zakrzewski, and 6 others.
Author(s): Zakrzewski, W. P.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Hamburg: Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA), Department for Ice and Environmental Technology
In: POAC 93 : the 12th International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions, 17.--20. August 1993, Hamburg. (1993.), Vol.2.
Abstract: Describes model, which predicts weight and thickness distribution of ice over vessel. Presents examples of results in form of sensitivity analysis for specific ship. Concludes that results are physically consistent and that algorithms are computationally robust. Model may be used for forecasting, design, regulation, and routing purposes.
