| Abstract: | Describes recently constructed test basin at US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory where full-scale vehicle mobility testing can be carried out in simulated winter conditions. Although testing is primarily concerned with freezing and thawing soils, other surfaces can be used. |
