Abstract: | Archaeological excavations in Bol'shoy Glukhoy cave on Chusovaya river (tributary of Upper Kama, Permskaya Oblast') in 1984-86 revealed multilayer Palaeolithic site providing evidence that man had already occupied Upper Kama basin by Lower Palaeolithic. Association of artefacts with remains of tundra fauna indicate that these early peoples were capable of coping with severe climate. |
