| Abstract: | Summarizes information available on size of colonies on Coats and East Digges islands in Canadian Eastern Arctic. Coats Island colony expanded in area between 1972 and 1984. Population of east sub-colony doubled between 1972 and 1990, as may have done west sub-colony. This increase may have ceased in 1990. Indications that size of East Digges colony may have declined between 1955 and 1980, since when numbers have remained stable. |
