Date: | 1993. |
Publisher: | Hamburg: Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA), Department for Ice and Environmental Technology |
In: | POAC 93 : the 12th International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions, 17.--20. August 1993, Hamburg. (1993.), Vol.1. |
Abstract: | In ice-milling tests, it is difficult to adjust milling depths and to stabilize ice strength, which drifts during experiment. To overcome this, multiple regression analysis is used to build mathematical models which describe propeller thrust and torque curves in ice-milling mode. |
