| Abstract: | Design requirements and resulting hull form solutions for new multipurpose icebreaker are described. Extensive ice model-test series, concentrating on manouevring capabilitites are summarized. Results from full-scale tests in spring 1993 in Baltic Sea are presented. Level ice, old channel and ridge tests were carried out. |
