| Abstract: | Krüger, Bjare and Akqioq disappeared in 1930 after setting off westward from Bache Peninsula, Ellesmere Island. Article reviews Krüger's background, his preparations for expedition, and extensive searches mounted by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in 1931 and 1932. Concludes with analysis of three messages left behind by Krüger and surmises possible fate of expedition. |
