Record #123693:

Antarctic ice sheet topography mapped with the ERS-1 radar altimeter / Jeffrey K. Ridley, Seymour W.C. Laxon, Christopher G. Rapley, David R. Mantripp.

Title: Antarctic ice sheet topography mapped with the ERS-1 radar altimeter / Jeffrey K. Ridley, Seymour W.C. Laxon, Christopher G. Rapley, David R. Mantripp.
Author(s): Ridley, Jeffrey K.
Laxon, Seymour W. C.
Rapley, Christopher G.
Mantripp, David R.
Date: 1993.
In: International Journal of Remote Sensing. (1993.), Vol. 14(9) (1993)
Abstract: Presents and interprets image derived from ERS-1 altimeter fast delivery data. Corresponds to onboard height value accumulated during periods of 3-day repeat orbit patterns of Commissioning Phase (July to December 1991) and Ice Phase (January to March 1992). Illustrates major improvement in Antarctic mapping which will be possible once 35- and 176-day orbit repeat cycles have been completed.
