Abstract: Presents satellite-tracked buoy, water property, and ichthyoplankton observations collected over Shelikof sea valley in western Gulf of Alaska. Observations reveal presence of anticyclonic mesoscale eddy (radius 10-12 km). Examines exchange of water between eddy and surrounding water, and discusses formation of eddy.
