Reproduction in two species of Arctic arachnids, Pardosa glacialis and Alopecosa hirtipes / Mark R. Simpson.

Title: Reproduction in two species of Arctic arachnids, Pardosa glacialis and Alopecosa hirtipes / Mark R. Simpson.
Author(s): Simpson, Mark R.
Date: 1993.
In: Canadian Journal of Zoology. (1993.), Vol. 71(3) (1993)
Abstract: Presents data on relationship between clutch size, female size and mass, and clutch mass in two species of Arctic spider. Reports significant correlations between female mass and number of young with female size. Discusses results in context of reproductive trade-offs and models of reproductive effort based on size. Arachnid specimens collected at Rankin Inlet, Northwest Territories.
